The centre piece of this tour is five nights at the wonderful Farmhouse in rural Haute Vienne, South Western France. Set in wild beautiful grounds on the river Gartempe it is a wonderful place to base ourselves whilst we take daily excursions to explore this beautiful region of France. Our guests have a choice of accomodation to suit different budgets: Gold - a comfortable room in the farmhouse, Silver - an elegant well appointed Bell Tent nestled in the grounds, or Bronze - a prepared level pitch with great facilities for those wanting to bring their own tent!
Unlike most of our other tours we encourage guests to ride their own motorcycles. As always our daily rides are gentle and we move as one.
Motorcycling in rural France has been on the cards for us for some time here at the Glorious Adventure Company. Owning our very own Farmhouse is a dream come true and we want to share this with our guests. We dine each night together in one of the large stone barns overlooking the little village of Folles. Our resident chef Erica Celine-Antoinette conjurs up an evening feast for us after a day in the saddle exploring. Expect rich food and plenty of red wine!
